Hi guys,

Let me begin by saying I am an only an amateur photographer. But I do want to improve! So, would you help me by making suggestions on how the photos at http://homepage.mac.com/tstone1616/PhotoAlbum27.html could have been better?

re: Santa Cruz boardwalk photos

Nice use of bold colors. I especially like the sense of desolation some of these photos give. It looks like you took these late in the afternoon which gives a wonderful warm and directional light to the images. Many could use some more developing/processing, for example the horizontal image of the umbrellas lined up could be boosted in detail and more information in the sky.
