Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but here are a few well-funded logos that look like flops to me:

What is it with all the weird sports-related logos? Too many head injuries?
Which logos make you grimace in pain?

London - I can't even
London - I can't even comment. It disturbs me on so many levels.
The Xerox logo is interesting. To me it looks like a web start-up not a Fortune 500 company. The custom typeface and use of lowercase is ok with me (even though they ran into problems when they added Fuji to their name since they didn't account for ascenders and descenders)but I don't understand the red ball with the connector lines. How is that going to reproduce in a one or two color environment?
xerox logo
Wow! I agree -- how are they going to get that in a 1 color or 2 color arrangement. My husband works for Xerox, and ever since they introduced that logo I've been dying to see exactly how they embroider it on a shirt! I'm still wondering...
The Verizon logo: please, make it stop!
I've never liked the Verizon logo. It's poorly executed, and all the checkmarks have your eye tugged in all directions. With the great elements of movement in the V and Z, it's a real missed opportunity...
Lord yes, the Verizon logo!
How could I have forgotten it!

ugly logos
London ... seriously? what happened?!?
I personally feel that
I personally feel that London 2012 is a great logo as it has succeeded in obtaining public focus and attention which is a logo's prime objective.
Pirelli...ugh!
The "P" in the Pirelli logo is dreadful...horrible! Completely stretched and distorted...I wonder if a professional designed that???
I like logo of Xerox
I agree with you but at same time i like logo for Xerox.
