I would like to put a "News and Events" section on a clients site, but am not sure which route to pursue. This will need to be updated often, so I am thinking PHP?
Any suggestion will most appreciated.
Regards,
Bryan

Drupal vs The Simple Life
Hi Bryan,
did you use Drupal in the end or are you still looking for advice on this? I think sometimes a simpler approach to these site add-ons is better, news and events could easily be run from a text file that you include.. ?> using PHP rather than going through all the hassle of a DB setup. Also an XML file could be read into a site easily and this would double as an RSS feed out of your site..
Food for thought
Yours sincerely
