If you had to choose only one 'design' conference to attend, which one would it be and why?
just looking for a dialog on the topic.
Best design conferences
Great question, Adam!
My answer would have to depend on what I wanted out of the conference, and what my budget was. Mogo (http://www.mogo-media.com/) offers some great one-day software-focused how-tos for cheap. HOW's annual design conference (http://howdesign.com/howevents/) is pricey, but you get a wide range of speakers and a vibrant attendee community. I've gone to ADIM (http://www.adimconference.com/) since 2003 and have loved its mix of hands-on software instruction and crazy projects. It's expensive, but you do get a copy of the current Creative Suite for the price of admission.
