I would like to resize the pictures, but don't influence the image quality.
i found some card templates from the internet, but the pictures are too small.

You probably downloaded low res files, which are usually used for internet because the resolution of your monitor is 72 ppi. For print it's better to use high resolution files (300 ppi) for sharper images with a more extended variety in colourshades. Resizing low resolution files to a larger size will decrease the quality of your image.
