I am fairly new to web design. I am using Dreamweaver CS3. I am also using DW Spry Menu Bar Horizontal widget. For some reason unknown to me. My web pages' spry menu bar displays beautifully in Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera BUT DOES NOT display the navigation properly in Internet Explorer 8.

Anyone Know Why?

It all worked well before IE had recent updates.

I have an ongoing and building animosity for Adobe's supposed annual upgrades of the Creative Suites. Most recently, I noticed the Dreamweaver CS4 no longer has an easy button for inserting a background command into one isolated line of code or for changing text size and color in one isolated place. Instead, here and in other places, Dreamweaver forces you to use CSS or code the line by hand in the code view section. I disagree with Adobe's decision on this. For one thing, it makes it harder to teach new designers. But moreover, it's not entirely appropriate to use CSS every time.

Does anyone know how to make each item in my menu bar a different color?

I have had to insert a new spry menu for each one, then change all tags in the js, css, and html to name2, name3, name4 etc. This has almost worked. Unfortunately when I add a new bar, the dropdown menu does not show up on the previous menu bar. So I'm missing something. It also seems like there should be an easier way.

Iam having 6 titles on the left side of the page, and my requirement is to change the image on the right side of the page in a fixed position when the mouse roll over on the any corresponding titles.Iam using CSS

So for this what should i do ? Can any one give some idea.

Can some one point me in the right direction to get help with the spry asset bar.
Its an addon to dreamweaver that gives a navigaton bar, with drop down menues. It loads great in IE but in firefox the box below is shifted over to the right

Where might i find help for this?
