Written by Terri Stone on March 24, 2008
In the 3/25/2008 weekly newsletter, I told you about some clueless clients I recently heard about. So that nobody would get in trouble, I called the design firm Ultimate Designers and the clients Clueless Company.
Clueless Company hired Ultimate Designers to create a quick and dirty Web site, with the understanding that Ultimate would design a more well-researched replacement site as soon as Clueless got past a pressing deadline.

Digital Economy Bill May Change Copyright Law In UK
Written by Randy Taylor on November 19, 2009
In the U.S., Google Book Settlement is the headline at water cooler
discussions on copyright, and the Orphan Works Act has stalled
temporarily, in part because the Senate Judiciary Committee is
preoccupied with things like trying terrorists. Meanwhile in Europe,
they have been burning the midnight oil to change their copyright
laws to reflect Orphan Works, the Google Book Settlement, content
theft on the Internet, and public opinion. The outcome could
dramatically affect rights holders.
Google Book Settlement
Written by Randy Taylor on November 17, 2009
On Friday the 13th (11/13/09), a revision to the Google Book
Settlement (GBS) was filed in Federal Court, bringing Google a step
closer to achieving its vision of indexing and providing the
literary history of the world to the world. The GBS Revision seems
designed primarily to appease the U.S. Justice Department, which has
expressed anti-trust concerns, as well as objections by foreign
countries, such as France and Germany, which have raised
international political pressure relating to copyright laws and
treaties because of GBS.

Written by David Nightingale on September 17, 2009
Hi,
I would be interested to hear from anybody that would like to swap links or have a small banner add for my services on their website, in return for a similar banner add on my site. Obviously there would need to be no conflicts of interest.
My site is:

Thanks in advance

Talk about a new frugality.
