Biography

Joseph has over ten years of experience in the digital space working with award-winning brands such as Nike, Volkswagen, Hummer, Saturn, Royal Caribbean, and Verizon. He has worked extensively on both the creative and developmental sides of the digital landscape and is fluent in bridging the gap between the two disciplines. His focus on emerging media has driven him to explore multiple channels from physical installation environments, to film/video, to motion graphics, to web, and mobile.

During Joseph’s 7+ years on the Nike account, he has led multiple global initiatives focusing on the AsiaPac, EMEA, and America regions. His focus on Nike’s performance and lifestyle categories immersed him in content development and artist/athlete collaborations. Joseph supported LeBron James in the digital space since his rookie year in the NBA, been on tour with Kobe Bryant twice throughout Asia, worked with the historic 2008 USA Basketball Team, and directed multiple video shoots featuring Nike’s top athletes. His projects have won multiple awards at AIGA, Andy’s, Art Director’s Club, Cannes, Clios, Communication Arts, and One Show.

Joseph has a decade’s worth of teaching experience and has taught numerous courses at the BFA and MFA levels at Parsons School of Design and Emerson College. His courses have focused on visual design, motion design, web development, video editing, and Flash programming — all with a strong concentration on progressive thinking. His upcoming book entitled ‘Strategic Mobile Design: Creating Engaging Experiences’ is due out December 2008.

Joseph is co-founder of NYC based creative studio Steady Ltd.
